RWACAF Coffee Tells a Story!

My name is Anna, and RWACAF coffee celebrates my family's legacy in Rwanda. My parents devoted their lives to cultivating coffee and supporting local farmers. RWACAF was their brand, and now it's back, bringing you exceptional coffee sourced from over a thousand farmers in Rwanda's high-altitude, volcanic soil. We go beyond Fair Trade, ensuring farmers receive a fair share of every cup. Discover the true essence of Rwanda with each sip of RWACAF coffee!

Gardens for Health International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to combating malnutrition in Rwanda through collaborative partnerships with families, schools, communities, and the government.

Rooted in Rwanda, we have worked alongside local communities since 2009 to develop sustainable solutions to malnutrition. Our innovative curriculum—covering agriculture, nutrition, and health—is co-created with local mothers. Talented educators from the communities they serve lead our trainings. We are proudly a Rwandan-led organization.

Our philosophy centers on systemic change rather than simply addressing symptoms. We believe the sustainable solution to effectively treating and preventing malnutrition lies in integrating agriculture and nutrition within the health system. We work closely with the Government of Rwanda, providing guidance on national policy, delivering training at local health clinics, and collaborating with Community Health Workers.

Currently, our interventions are active in Gasabo, Burera, and Kayonza districts. We are also proud to have successfully implemented our program and impacted families for nine years (2013–2021) in Musanze District and for five years (2017–2022) in Karongi, Nyamagabe, Rutsiro, and Nyaruguru Districts, where we handed over activities to the respective district authorities in March 2022.
